About You
Ideally, you will bring a strong customer‑first mindset with experience supporting resellers and internal sales teams through technical quotations, solution design and day‑to‑day presales support. You’re confident working with Networking solutions, building deep product and process knowledge, and maintaining relevant vendor certifications. You present professionally at all times, enjoy engaging with customers and vendors through meetings, training and presentations, and are proactive in identifying new business opportunities while managing opportunities and forecasts accurately.

What you will do in the role

  • Provide high‑quality customer service and sales support to Dicker Data resellers as required
  • Support the Dicker Data Inside Sales team and/or BDMs with technical quotations involving Networking configurations and solutions
  • Act as a professional point of contact for reseller and vendor enquiries, delivering timely quotations and technical solution information
  • Always present a professional image to both resellers and vendors
  • Develop and maintain strong product and process knowledge across Networking technologies
  • Acquire and maintain relevant vendor sales certifications as directed
  • Attend reseller and vendor training and social events, which may occur outside of standard business hours
  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and potential customer accounts
  • Conduct regular customer and vendor meetings in line with goals set by your manager
  • Submit opportunity tracking forecasts or sales pipelines on a weekly basis as directed
  • Coordinate and deliver customer presentations, sharing product, technology and the Dicker Data value proposition
  • Deliver reseller training sessions as required
  • Be available to travel locally, interstate and internationally when needed
