We are looking for a Trainee HR or People Advisor to join our busy People team at Dick Lovett. This is a fantastic opportunity to support our Advisors and develop your own HR skillset in an exciting industry. This role is vital to supporting our dealerships with a mix of generalist personnel functions, so we need someone who is well-rounded and amazing with people. This role will report to our Personnel Manager and work closely with our Advisors and Administrators to deliver a first-class service to our dealerships. Building great working relationships over the phone and in person will be essential in this role. Some travel between sites will be required so a full UK driving licence is essential.

Job Opportunity

  • Provide administrative support to our People Advisors
  • Compiling reports
  • Supporting on Disciplinary and Grievance issues with note taking
  • Recruitment and Selection for the dealerships
  • Assisting with on-boarding, new starter and leaver processes
  • Providing advice on general process and procedural issues

Essential Skills

  • At least one year in an administrative role, preferably in a People environment
  • Impeccable attention to detail, sound communication skills, an excellent telephone manner and a genuine desire to make a difference
  • Working towards a CIPD qualification would be preferred or the ambition to achieve this in the near future
  • Full UK Driving Licence – travel between sites is required for this role
