Dick Lovett Group is looking for a skilled Management Accountant to support our dealership network with accurate monthly reporting, strong financial insight, and consistent processes across the business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys improving financial performance, supporting team development, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and control. Please note, this role will be based on our Bristol campus.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Produce accurate monthly management accounts within agreed deadlines
- Provide clear financial analysis to senior management and key stakeholders
- Support and mentor junior finance team members
- Maintain accurate mapping between the DMS and reporting ledger
- Work closely with the financial accounts team to ensure consistent processes
- Review fixed assets, additions, and disposals to support cost efficiency
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and year end preparation
- Ensure monthly vehicle stock checks are completed and reconciled
- Contribute to the development of accounting policies and procedures
- Work closely with the wider Accounting teams to ensure consistent processes
- Working towards Delivering Excellence within the Dick Lovett Group
Essential Skills:
- Experience in a management accounting role and automotive sector is preferential
- Applicants must hold AAT as a minimum qualification, with progression toward or achievement of CIMA or ACCA strongly preferred
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Confident communicator with the ability to support and influence stakeholders
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
- Proficiency with accounting systems and financial reporting tools
