We are urgently recruiting for a Lorry Wash Operative / Class 2 Driver to join our team. This is a depot-based position with immediate start available. You will be responsible for moving lorries in and out of the wash bay, carrying out pressure washing, and supporting general yard duties. On average, we clean 10 vehicles daily. Once a week, you will also carry out a short drive for palletised goods collection (up to 1 hour each way).
Key Responsibilities:
- Moving vehicles in and out of the cleaning yard
- Unloading empty returns, pallets, and trays
- Pressure washing trailers (inside and outside)
- General yard cleaning duties
- Weekly short-distance driving for collections
Requirements:
- Class 2 Licence, CPC, and Tacho essential
- Counterbalance FLT Licence preferred (training provided if not held)
- Reliability and attention to detail
Hours & Shift Pattern:
- Start: 03:30 AM
- Finish: 12:00 PM
- Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday
- Up to 40 hours per week
Benefits:
- Competitive salary: £33,800 per annum
- £1,000 discretionary bonus (2 payments of £500 January & March)
