Diban Ltd requires to hire a Civil Engineer to support the planning, design coordination, delivery, supervision, and technical control of civil engineering works across Diban’s telecommunications, water, and EV charging projects in the UK and international markets. He will contribute to the successful execution of both new network construction and maintenance of existing infrastructure, ensuring that all works are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.
Main duties include:
- Oversee civil engineering works for telecoms, water, and EV charging projects in the UK and internationally, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Support project planning, including review of drawings, scope documents, and technical requirements for construction feasibility and efficiency.
- Supervise civil activities on-site, including excavation, ducting, utility installation, and reinstatement, ensuring work is carried out safely and on schedule.
- Ensure all civil engineering works are delivered with a "right-first-time" approach, minimizing disruptions and rework.
- Contribute to the development of project methodologies, work schedules, budgets, and resource plans to meet project milestones.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining safety standards across all phases of project delivery.
- Assist in managing and coordinating relationships with clients, subcontractors, local authorities, and stakeholders.
- Monitor and control costs related to civil engineering works, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Review and validate completed works, ensuring they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
