  • PRIVATE CREDIT & CAPITAL SOLUTIONS – LONDON – 2–5 PQE
  • Direct Lending | Special Situations | Private Credit | Sponsor Finance

One of the most compelling opportunities currently available within the London finance market.

Our client is a premier US law firm that is making a significant strategic investment in the continued growth of its London Finance practice.

As private credit continues to reshape the financing landscape, the team is at the forefront of advising many of the market's leading sponsors, direct lenders and institutional investors on increasingly sophisticated transactions.

The practice is not limited to traditional leveraged finance.

Associates are exposed to a broad spectrum of complex financing structures, including direct lending, recapitalisations, liability management transactions, acquisition financings, refinancings and other bespoke capital solutions for sponsor-backed businesses.

This is an opportunity to join a genuinely entrepreneurial team where associates are entrusted with meaningful responsibility from an early stage.

Rather than operating within a heavily layered structure, lawyers work closely with partners, take ownership of key workstreams and enjoy significant client exposure on high-profile, cross-border matters.

The role would suit England & Wales qualified associates with approximately 2–5 years' PQE gained at a leading City, US or international law firm.

Candidates may currently specialise in leveraged finance, private credit, acquisition finance, fund finance or broader banking & finance, provided they have experience advising on sophisticated sponsor-backed financing transactions.

In return, the successful candidate will enjoy

  • Market-leading compensation at Cravath scale.
  • Exposure to many of the most sophisticated private credit and sponsor finance transactions in Europe.
  • Outstanding levels of responsibility and client contact.
  • A collaborative, high-performing culture with genuine opportunities for long-term progression.
  • The opportunity to establish themselves within one of the fastest-growing areas of the legal market.

This is an exceptional opportunity for ambitious finance lawyers seeking more responsibility, more sophisticated work and a platform from which to build a market-leading private credit and capital solutions practice.
