One of the world's leading US law firms is seeking a Capital Markets Associate to join its market-leading London practice. This is a rare opportunity to join a highly regarded team advising on some of the most complex and high-profile transactions in the market, working alongside leading practitioners on matters spanning the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and emerging markets.

The practice offers genuinely broad exposure across:

  • Initial Public Offerings (IPOs)
  • Secondary offerings, placings and rights issues
  • UK public M&A transactions
  • Cross-border securities offerings
  • Public company advisory and corporate governance matters
  • Investment-grade and high-yield debt offerings
  • SEC-registered and Rule 144A transactions

Unlike many specialist teams, the practice operates across both equity and debt capital markets, providing associates with a broader platform and more varied experience than is typically available elsewhere in the London market. Associates are given significant responsibility from an early stage, working directly with partners, clients, investment banks and listed companies on sophisticated cross-border matters.

This opportunity is particularly well suited to associates seeking:

  • Greater exposure to headline transactions
  • Increased client contact and responsibility
  • A broader mix of capital markets and public company work
  • International deal exposure
  • A long-term platform for career progression

Requirements

  • 1–4 years' PQE (or equivalent international experience)
  • Strong Capital Markets experience gained at a leading UK, US or international law firm
  • Experience advising on equity capital markets transactions
  • Excellent academics and technical drafting skills
  • Commercially minded with strong interpersonal skills

The Opportunity

  • Market-leading US compensation
  • Premium international client base
  • High-profile cross-border transactions
  • Outstanding training and development
  • Direct access to highly regarded partners
  • Collaborative and entrepreneurial team culture
