As a Healthcare Assistant at our Rotherham Dialysis Unit, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care following Diaverum procedures, ultimately improving our patients' quality of life. We are committed to your professional growth and will provide comprehensive training, including on-the-job training, e-learning, and access to our in-house education program, "d Academy".
Location: Rotherham, GB, S60 2UD
Responsibilities:
- Maintain clean equipment following proper training.
- Prepare supplies and packs for treatment.
- Conduct health checks with patients before and after dialysis.
- Escort patients to clinical and waiting areas.
- Serve refreshments during treatments.
Requirements:
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
- Minimum NVQ level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent (preferably working towards level 3).
- Ideally, previous experience in a hospital and healthcare setting.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A positive and dynamic approach to delivering safe and effective care.
- Excellent communication skills (oral + written) with fluency in English.
What We Offer:
- Part-time position, 22 hours per week.
- Monday to Saturday (no nights or Sunday working).
- Competitive salary up to £25,086 depending on experience.
- Overtime paid at time and a half after completing full-time hours (150 hours every 4 weeks).
