Healthcare Assistant – Renal Care Team
Location: Nottingham, NG2 6PR
Contract: Permanent
Work Type: On-site
Schedule: Full time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Saturday, no evenings or Sundays)
Responsibilities
Working under the supervision of a registered nurse, your duties include:
- Maintaining clean equipment following proper training
- Preparing supplies and packs for treatment
- Conducting health checks with patients before and after dialysis
- Escorting patients to clinical and waiting areas
- Serving refreshments during treatments
Requirements
- GCSE level or equivalent education
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (preferably progressing toward Level 3)
- Previous experience in a hospital and healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive and dynamic approach to delivering safe, effective care
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with fluency in English
