We have an exciting opportunity in our Kings Norton clinic for an experienced senior staff nurse who is looking to make the next move in their career. You will provide patient care according to Diaverum procedures and in order to increase the quality of life for our patients.
Main duties of the job
- To manage the dialysis clinic in the absence of the manager, encompassing effective leadership of staff and ensuring high standards of patient care and promoting good working relationships between Diaverum and the NHS.
- The role of the DCM is also to provide specialised nursing knowledge and skills to enable junior members of the nursing team to develop their skills and knowledge.
- To ensure all technical equipment is fully maintained and operational and water quality conforms to Renal Association Standards.

Your Responsibilities:
- Overseeing clinic operations to ensure quality patient care and clinical outcomes.
- Supervising and supporting staff with continuous professional development and training.
- Managing patient scheduling and staffing for optimal efficiency.
- Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene policies and Renal Association Standards.
- Providing specialized nursing knowledge and skills to junior team members.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements:
- NMC Registered Nurse with post-basic qualification in renal nursing.
- At least two years of experience in Haemodialysis at a Senior level.
- Proven experience in managing and leading a team of nurses.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and excellent communication skills.
