Dialysis Assistant – Rotherham

We\’re thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join our Rotherham team as a Dialysis Assistant. In this vital role, you\’ll support our nursing staff and deliver top‑notch care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment.

This is a Fixed Term contract for 12 months covering maternity.

Your Responsibilities

• Preparing, restoring and maintaining clinical areas and equipment.
• Monitoring and stocking consumable supplies to ensure smooth operation.
• Escorting patients to and from the clinical area.
• Contributing to patient documentation and managing phone inquiries.
• Providing hands‑on care under supervision, including preparing patients for dialysis, monitoring during treatment and assisting with post‑dialysis care.

Requirements

• GCSE education and NVQ3 in Health and Social Care.
• At least two years of experience as a Care Assistant, with a focus on high‑level patient care.
• Proficiency in English and working knowledge of MS Office.
• A compassionate and diligent approach to patient care.
• Must be able to work clinically in a renal setting.
