Sisley Paris are looking for a hard-working and motivated PR Executive (Maternity Cover) to join the fast-paced in-house PR department at our central London head office. The PR Executive will work closely alongside the Head of Marketing & PR, liaising with journalists, influencers and industry experts on a daily basis and maintaining stand out press coverage for Sisley. We are looking for someone who is passionate about all things beauty and has a creative and innovative flair.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Marketing & PR in implementing the UK PR strategy, ensuring all launches are executed to a high standard.
- Handle all press enquiries quickly and efficiently.
- Manage and implement all daily press send outs and larger scale mailers.
- Save all press coverage daily and create regular coverage reports to share with the internal and global team.
- Regular analysis of print and web coverage using DMR platform.
- Monitor all social coverage using Campaign and create regular reports to showcase results.
- Build up contacts with regional and Irish press and maintain good regional press coverage.
- Build relationships with Beauty Assistants and junior press.
- Placing and managing all stock orders for Head Office and press events/mailings.
- Regularly update and manage the press and influencer database.
- Support with all PR events, campaigns and press trips.
- Research exciting and new venues to host events - keep up to date with new openings.
- Liaise with suppliers and be able to negotiate in line with budgets.
- Work on event debrief reports to share with the wider team.
- Work closely with global social team to ensure best in class coverage for UK PR events.
- Communicate with the global PR team on a regular basis.
- Support on outreach to influencers and research new influencers to work with for gifting or campaigns.
- Support on outreach to journalists to secure coverage for the brand across all media touchpoints and increase qualitative press coverage.
- Sourcing and implementing creative mailers and gifting, considering innovative new ideas to generate organic social media coverage.
- Regular competitor analysis to strengthen knowledge of the beauty landscape.
- Create seasonal/thematic press releases to gain coverage on existing/cult products.
- Ensure all google drive folders are regularly updated and organised - image library, press releases etc.
- Ongoing research in beauty pages in print and online and proactively pitching feature ideas.
- Work collaboratively and creatively with the marketing teams on NPD launches and influencer partnerships.
- Manage and develop relationships with beauty assistants and writers at key press titles.
- Raise PO's and ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner. Also ensure the PO tracker and Mastercard log are regularly kept up to date.
- Ongoing competitor analysis and understanding of wider beauty landscape and trends.
- Manage micro influencer platform Skeepers, set up campaigns and manage product send outs, ensure the global and PR files are up to date with content.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 years' beauty PR experience.
- Influencer and press contacts.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
