We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Account Executive to join our team to work across a variety of both talent and brand clients. You will be responsible for helping support the day-to‑day running alongside with your wider team, be expected to help write media pitches and press releases, supporting with pitching stories to widespread UK media across national print, online, TV, Radio and podcasts to secure high-quality, impactful press coverage, developing your media relationships, attending photoshoots and red carpet events and managing client interviews. The ideal candidate will need to be able to cope well in a busy and interchanging environment whilst managing upwards to your senior team and working collaboratively with the agency team on day‑to‑day tasks. The role will also require you to work weekends on occasions (including reading newspapers) for any press activity, events or industry occasions. You must be able to 'hit the ground running' as a key member of our team and fully immerse yourself in the world of PR and publicity., Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Pitching stories, news and interviews to press
- Overseeing daily coverage collation for clients within print, online and broadcast press, and social media
- Managing client communications and project management when required
- Developing and growing journalist contacts through face‑to‑face appointments
- Attending events, shoots, and red carpets with clients
- Reading newspapers on weekends with the full team and consuming media on all levels and all times.
A minimum of 12 months' agency or in‑house experience - Previous experience in consumer PR campaigns
- The ability to manage multiple clients and projects
- Strong writing and pitching skills
- The ability to work independently
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of social media
- The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
