Responsibilities
- Lead own client portfolio (5/6 brands) working alongside and reporting to the Managing Director.
- Lead execution of clients communications strategy, across press, digital and social channels.
- Ensure strong visibility across digital, social/influence and print media, across the UK and Ireland.
- Deliver a strong strategic & creative vision approach and POV.
- Build and maintain collaborative and valuable relationships with all clients and respective teams.
- Maintain an extensive network of high level media, influencer, and industry contacts.
- Understand the vision, story, product offering and positioning of each brand within the marketplace.
- Show a deep understanding of client’s business to deliver strategic and creative campaigns against briefs.
- Lead your team to secure qualitative and impactful coverage across all digital, print and social platforms, ensuring year on year increase.
- Generate story ideas and pitch proactively across the media landscape.
- Support junior members of the team in pitching and building relationships.
- Share best practices.
- Align with brand's marketing calendar and manage the PR calendar to support all launch initiatives and seasonal focuses.
- Ensure daily liaison with key client contacts for strong collaboration and regular communication.
- Plan and execute all UK launch events ensuring strong attendance from print, digital and social influencers.
- Work with production companies where required.
- Lead development and briefing of creative content for client projects and campaigns.
- Work with external creatives and producers to deliver on deadline.
- Identify collaboration opportunities and potential partnerships to promote owned brands and their services.
- Consider a regional PR strategy for clients, including events and seasonal regional tours where required.
- Produce creative and engaging written press materials, pitches, strategies and content for clients.
- Utilise digital and social insights and analytics tools for measurement, KPI development, tracking and campaign analysis.
- Monitor and manage client budgets ensuring no overspend.
- Contribute to new business pitching.
- Contribute to Brandstand social channels.
Management
- Day to day lead, management and organisation of your portfolio of brands.
- Implement best internal practices for the team.
- Manage, develop & inspire junior staff members, enabling them to create & execute meaningful personal development programmes.
- Contribute to the Senior leadership team.
