We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Chicken Catcher & Factory Operative to join our busy poultry team. This is a hands-on role involving both farm and factory work, offering variety and steady full-time hours. You will work as part of a small, friendly team to ensure the safe, efficient handling of poultry and the smooth operation of processing tasks in the factory.
Responsibilities
- Safely catching, handling and loading poultry for transport.
- Operating machinery and equipment in the factory.
- Following all health, safety and animal welfare procedures.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the work area.
- Working effectively as part of a team to meet production targets.
Requirements
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a manual, active role.
- Willing to start work late night/early morning.
- A good team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in poultry catching or factory work is desirable but not essential (training provided).
- Own transport due to rural location.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21-£13.93 per hour
