Role Description

This a remote contract position for a seamstress located near Belfast, focusing on the creation and refinement of womenswear garments.

Day-to-day responsibilities include cutting, sewing, and finishing pieces to a high standard, performing fittings, alterations, and tailoring to ensure an excellent fit and comfort.

The role involves collaborating with the creative director, interpreting patterns, and maintaining consistency with the brand’s aesthetic and quality expectations.

The seamstress will also offer guidance on garment adjustments, while meeting clearly defined timelines and expectations.

Note, you will need to have some essential equipment, to be assessed after application.

Qualifications

  • Strong dressmaking skills, including garment construction, alterations, and finishing.
  • Proficiency in tailoring and fitting to achieve precise, comfortable, and flattering fits.
  • Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
