Our client, a leading Asset Manager, is looking for a VP to oversee a high-level migration project.
Role: VP
Rate: £500 - £750
Payment Framework: Employment Company (inside IR35)
Contract start date: June 2025
Current end date: June 2027
Location: London, on-site Monday to Friday (office based)
Requirements:
- Asset Management knowledge, preferably middle office
- Preferably good understanding of Trade lifecycle, or Investment Accounting
- Experience with systems integration, production parallel testing, run book management
- Technical knowledge of Excel or VBA
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and secure migration of historical to new systems
- Develop a comprehensive migration strategy and roadmap, detailing timelines, resources, and risk management
- Collaborate with stakeholders and internal departments to gather requirements and ensure the new system meets specific requirements
- Oversee the configuration and customization of the systems ensuring they assist with current and new workflows and processes
- Run test scenarios to check system functionalities
- Review data integrity pre-and post-migration
- Support with system requirements of current systems
- Provide ongoing support during the migration, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring continuity of operations
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of the migration process, including technical specifications, user guides, and support materials
