A leading Financial Consultancy is looking for a Trade Confirmations Analyst to join them. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end confirmation process for precious metals trades during a system migration. This involves handling manual confirmations and exceptions due to the transition.

- Rate: Β£200 - Β£275 per day (inside IR35)
- Pay framework: Employment Company/Umbrella Company
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: initially 6-week contract, likely to extend
- Location: London
- Working Pattern: Hybrid 2-3 days per week office based.
Responsibilities
- Manually process trade confirmations, including verification of trade details, counterparty information, and settlement instructions.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between trade details and confirmations.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams (trading desk, settlements) and external counterparties to resolve confirmation breaks.
- Maintain accurate records of all confirmations and related communication.
- Escalate complex issues to the Team Lead and/or relevant stakeholders.
- Adhere to established procedures and regulatory requirements for trade confirmations.
- Work effectively under pressure and manage a high volume of confirmations during the migration period.
- Adapt to evolving processes and procedures as the firm transitions to a new system.
Requirements
- Experience in processing trade confirmations, preferably for precious metals.
- Understanding of trade lifecycle events and settlement procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
