Our client is seeking a Loans Documentation Specialist to join the Credit Loans Middle Office Team. You must have experience of Loan Market Association (LMA) and/or Loan Syndications and Trading Association (LSTA). Your team will support a range of business areas with the origination, syndication and secondary market trading of performing and non-performing loans. As part of your role, you will ensure efficient pre-trade due diligence, execution and settlement across both primary and secondary loans.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the team to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the firm’s risk positions and resolve any trade settlement issues.
- Monitor trading systems for new trades and confirm trades with external clients.
- Draft, review and negotiate transfer documents including trade confirmations and transfer certificates.
- Liaise with Legal, Compliance, Credit, Trading Desks, and Agency and Servicing teams to ensure approvals are obtained and pricing/cashflows are agreed, reconciled and settled.
Essential skills:
- Understanding of Loan Market Association (LMA) and/or Loan Syndications and Trading Association (LSTA) standards are an absolute must.
- Experience with ClearPar.
- Knowledge and previous experience in Bank Loans Closing, Servicing or Agency activity.
- Experience navigating Loan Credit Agreements.
