We are looking for an Associate to make a key contribution to the Instrument Data Team for this top tier Asset Manager. You will have a good understanding of the fundamental characteristics of financial instruments, such as stocks, bonds, and derivatives and manage/analyse data related to financial instruments, ensuring data accuracy, to support investment strategies and manage risk.
You will need experience of analysing instrument data such as market-traded financial products, including stocks, bonds and other asset management investments. You will review accurate pricing, trading, and risk management, including identifiers, characteristics, issuer details, and pricing data.
Role:
- Collecting, validating, and maintaining instrument data from various sources.
- Ensuring data quality and accuracy.
- Administering and updating asset databases and systems.
- Performing data reconciliations and audits.
- Analysing instrument data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Supporting investment decisions and capital allocation.
- Using statistical and analytical tools to interpret complex data sets.
- Creating reports on asset performance and lifecycle.
- Producing reports on data insights.
- Identifying and mitigating data quality risks.
- Ensuring data security and confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Previous experience within Asset Management.
- Experience with instrument data is essential.
- Experience analysing/reporting on products within Asset Management.
- Report writing skills.
- Experience monitoring data quality metrics.
