A Stores Person is required to join a Malvern based company who provide installation and maintenance services to commercial and industrial businesses across the UK. Experiencing continued growth, they are looking for a Stores Person who is switched-on and looking to progress into a Warehouse Supervisor role. A hands-on role in a small team overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Supervising store-persons, ensuring efficiency, accuracy and that health & safety is adhered to
- Operating counterbalance forklift trucks to manoeuvre stock around the site
- Overseeing daily warehouse and yard operations, ensuring timely coordination of goods in/out
- Managing stock control processes, including managing inventory, labelling and maintaining optimal stock levels
- Planning and coordinating transport and logistics, ensuring timely delivery of materials and customer orders
- Conducting regular audits and inspections, identifying areas for improvement
Ideal Skills & Experience:
- Due to the location of the site, a full driving license is preferred
- A valid forklift licence would be beneficial
- Process-oriented with a solid understanding of warehouse safety practices
- Competent with computers and stock management systems
- Strong organisational and time management skills

- Starting salary of £25,000 p/a
- Monday to Friday working 8am - 4:30pm
