Due to continued growth, a well-established and specialist manufacturer supplying parts to major OEMs is looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to strengthen its engineering team.
Location: Motherwell area
Salary: £47,500 + 5% employer pension contribution
Shift: Day shift (no nights)
Working as part of a team of skilled Maintenance Engineers and alongside key stakeholders, you will play a vital role in ensuring plant reliability and performance. You will deliver effective planned and reactive maintenance, helping the site achieve its production and operational KPIs.
Responsibilities
- Responding to and resolving machine breakdowns efficiently
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities
- Managing spares, ensuring critical parts are available and ordered as required
- Conducting root cause analysis to eliminate recurring faults
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and costs
Qualifications
- Proven experience maintaining production or manufacturing machinery
- Strong electrical and mechanical skills (electrical bias preferred)
- Experience working with hydraulics and/or pneumatics
- A time-served background and/or relevant engineering maintenance qualifications
