Austen & Blake is a premium jewellery brand offering bespoke and made-to-order engagement rings, wedding rings and fine jewellery. Known for its design expertise, personal consultations and craftsmanship, Austen & Blake serves customers through a combination of digital touchpoints and physical showrooms. This role is dedicated exclusively to the Austen & Blake brand.

We are seeking a commercially minded Merchandiser to join our team and play a key role in shaping product ranges, driving profitability, and delivering exceptional results across both retail and digital channels. This role combines analytical insight with commercial strategy, allowing you to influence decisions that directly impact our growth and customer experience.

How you’ll contribute:

  • Support the Buyer in developing seasonal product strategies aligned to business goals and customer needs.
  • Using historical and in-season trading data to influence range building, option planning, and market differentiation.
  • Set and manage weekly, seasonal, and annual sales and profit targets split by category, channel and market.
  • Deliver clear, concise weekly trade reporting and commentary on sales, margin and AOV with recommendations to drive performance.
  • Manage markdown and promotional activity that aligns to the trade calendar whilst protecting margin and supporting sales growth.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, logistics and retail to manage the inventory, proactively identifying recommendations to clear through.
  • Support both the retail and digital teams to deep dive into categories and markets to understand sales trends and identify growth opportunities.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience in merchandising, ideally within jewellery, fashion, or accessories.
  • Proven track record in sales and margin planning, and commercial performance management.
  • Solid understanding of merchandising principles, range development, and product lifecycle management.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence decisions based on data.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
