JOB TITLE: Installation Engineer – Security Systems

The COMPANY

Our client has nearly 150 years of experience within the construction industry. Over 40 years ago, they established a Security Services Division, which quickly became a trusted name in the industry. They work with businesses—over a third of all solar farms in the UK utilize their equipment/services—and domestic clients. They have earned a reputation for the quality of their products, services, and staff.

The ROLE

Due to internal promotion, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Installation Engineer to join their team. Working on a range of projects mainly within the region with occasional overnight stays, you will be responsible for installing various security equipment, including:

  1. Intruder alarms
  2. Fire alarms
  3. CCTV systems
  4. Access Control Systems
  5. Integrated solutions
  6. Gates and Barriers
  7. Emergency Lighting
  8. Fibre optics

The CANDIDATE

Our client seeks an enthusiastic and dynamic Installation Engineer with the ambition to develop a career within a successful, expanding construction company. The ideal candidate will possess:

  1. Experience installing security equipment (intruder alarms, access control, fire alarms, etc.)
  2. ECS/CSCS card
  3. Knowledge of electrical principles
  4. IPAF training (advantageous)
  5. Good understanding of IP CCTV & security networks
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills

SALARY: £16.50 to £18.00 per hour, equivalent to £36,465 – £39,780, depending on experience. 42.5-hour week plus overtime at \”time and a half,\” pension, and van.
