This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand leader; this role represents an integral position within the business where you will be appreciated for your hard work and dedication.

The role involves providing samples to existing and potential customers, which is one of the most important links between the company and potential sales. Ensuring that the company has an effective and reliable sample service is essential to the success of the business.

Purpose

To operationally manage the whole samples team and processes across all relevant business locations. Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring that samples and sample collateral are in stock
  • Delivering customer needs on time, efficiently and accurately in line with business objectives
  • Making continuous improvements to the sample offer, service level and cost management
  • Supplying management information on the consumption of sample collateral
  • Using automated processes to ensure correct stock levels of key products
  • Owning the entire end-to-end samples process
  • Maintaining systematic processes, ensuring they are fully functional and repaired as necessary with internal or external suppliers
  • Being the samples business partner offering support to the sales, marketing and management teams with all sampling related enquiries and requirements

Responsibilities

  • Management of Samples Department personnel including performance management, succession planning, training, talent management, and PDD process

The ideal candidate

  • Experience of managing a team, excellent ability to motivate and develop others
  • A can-do attitude, customer focused and highly motivated
  • Able to effectively prioritize own workload
  • Remains calm under pressure
  • A forward-thinking approach
  • Excellent communication skills with a confident approach
  • Previous use of SAP or Microsoft Dynamics 365 desirable but not necessary
