Our client are seeking a dynamic, driven, proactive and professional sales director with a strong background and experience within the manufacture of food, ingredients, beauty products, pharmaceuticals or the nutraceuticals industry.

As a sales director, you will be responsible for the performance of sales and ensuring that monthly targets are hit. The sales team consists of both inbound and outbound sales professionals. The ideal candidate will be able to showcase a track record of delivering high performance across both sales pods and use their industry knowledge to develop these teams to increase conversion rates at each sales gate.

The sales director will need to possess a strong command of the industry to succeed in this role, working with supply chain teams, quality teams and technical teams is critical to ensure success.

This is an on-site based opportunity, based in KENT, offering remuneration of c£75K base plus fantastic commission potential!

We are seeking a strong, commercially astute leader, with good business acumen, recognised UK BD experience and strategic product knowledge. Someone able to train, nurture, motivate and develop the team, but also with a hands-on / 'lead from the front' approach. A high calibre, high performing individual, well connected and also able to self-generate business, adding to company profits.
