Recruiting for a Legal Technologist to work with the private client legal teams helping to develop new ways of improving service and efficiencies using technology. Your role will be to work with technology in delivering innovative value-add legal solutions to clients and employees including supporting the implementation and maintenance of existing solutions.
Role- Provide technical expertise in the creation of new solutions
- Design and implement solutions using document, case management and portal technologies
- Work collaboratively across internal teams including IT, Knowledge and Business Development
- Contribute to reports on technology to be distributed internally
- Contribute to building, updating and maintaining delivered solutions and providing support including troubleshooting, managing user access, setting up security etc.
- Identify opportunities where current technologies can assist with supporting internal clients
- Identify opportunities for system enhancements and software upgrades allowing the firm to provide innovative solutions
- Ensuring good relationships with software providers and internal clients
- Establish and deliver training sessions to facilitate the transfer of technical knowledge to colleagues
- Be aware of market trends and developments in the legal, automation and AI industries
- Attend technological exhibitions
- Other tasks as may be reasonably required
- Travel between office locations as and when required to meet the needs of the business

- An undergraduate law/computer sciences degree/equivalent education or experience
- Understanding of legal software and applied experience of implementing tools such as Peppermint/Microsoft Dynamics, Contract Express, HighQ OR an understanding/experience of using project management workflow tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and close attention to detail
- Strong collaboration skills, with an enthusiastic personality
- An innovative approach, with creative thinking and to be open to new ideas
- Ability to work with people across all levels of the firm
- Excellent presentation skills
