Diamond Search Recruitment are delighted to be representing our client, a well established company recruiting for a Resource Planner working in their offices based in Rochester. Local and/or transport required due to location. Established in excess of 20+ years, our client are a small, close-knit team with a very family-focused ethos who exist to support the ongoing successes of their clients.
The Role
- Collation and analysis of all resources required to fulfil each project.
- Liaise with Project Managers to manage resource planning effectively.
- Liaise with warehouse / assembly team to ensure equipment is picked / assembled / fulfilled in readiness for shipment.
- Liaise with Production manager to ensure supply chain can fulfil all orders on time.
- Maintain effective and appropriate communication channels with the team.
- Respond to resource requests in a timely manner.
- Feedback to Project Managers any potential roadblocks to successful completion of a job.
- Hold regular updates with the delivery teams to ensure everyone is conversant with the current state of play.
- On a weekly basis, review tracking documentation issued by Project Managers and update resource plan accordingly highlighting any potential shortcomings or risks.
- Work with others to provide a weekly cohorts list for publication to our clients and OOH manager.
- With others review the daily report tool for accuracy.
- Ensure projects forecast throughout the year are made visible with resources allocated at the earliest possible stage.
- Engage with resource suppliers and work with others to introduce new subcontractors.
- Work with others to ensure teams have (within reason) the necessary knowledge, know-how, instruction and information to complete any task, job or project.
- Make recommendations in determination of a more efficient / effective way of working.
Working pattern: Monday - Friday, 9:00 - 17:00.

- Confident in using all aspects of Microsoft 365.
- Motivated.
- Good team player.
- Well organised.
- Aside from basic skill set required to fulfil the above, training will be provided.
- Most important quality: Must have a good sense of humour!!!
- Previous experience as a Resource Planner.
