Diamond Search Recruitment are delighted to be representing our client, a leader within their field, providing trusted identity and security solutions. The Email Marketing Specialist will lead on email marketing activities and deliver strategies to maximise lead generation from this channel. The position holder will be responsible for planning and delivering West Marketing email strategies, and as a subject expert guide and support regional marketing managers and the wider West Marketing team in optimising our email marketing. As part of the digital marketing team, the position holder will support the SEM Marketing Manager in maintaining websites.
Main job responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Generate leads from email activities to achieve business goals
- Work with marketing leadership to create an email marketing strategy and set performance KPIs
- Maintain email database, building engaged and well segmented audience lists
- Design, implement and test email marketing campaigns including content writing in line with brand guidelines and messaging framework
- Upgrade email templates using graphics, personalisation and advanced features
- Analyse campaign performance and suggest improvements
- Report on channel performance and revenue generated from email marketing efforts
- Keep up to date with industry and regulatory changes and best practices
- Assist in implementing necessary website edits in CMS
Person specification:
- Sufficient, proven work experience as an Email marketing or Digital marketing specialist
- Proficiency in marketing automation technology preferably Pardot
- Understanding of the full customer journey and experience
- Hands on experience with content management systems
- Knowledge of SEO/SEM and Google Analytics
- Familiarity with analytical and database tools
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
- Digital Marketing Degree or a recognised Email Marketing certification
- Knowledge of Salesforce
- Understanding of sales cycles
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML; client and server-side technologies a plus
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud
