Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a highly motivated, performance driven individual, a self-starter who is assertive and has a high degree of self‐confidence and intellectual curiosity, and who demonstrates good executive presence; someone who possesses strong leadership skills, exceeds customer expectations and has experience working within the medical device and/or pharmaceutical sector. The ideal candidate would come with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business, MSc or MBA preferred. Plus, have proven senior level marketing experience, including upstream marketing. Experience creating software development to address unmet needs and experience with global product and stakeholder management strongly preferred.

Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Marketing Manager will be developing and managing the future innovation portfolio of automated medicine delivery solutions. This upstream marketing position will be responsible for leading innovation efforts with a focus on identifying unmet customer needs, defining hardware and/or software product requirements to address customer experience gaps and collaborating with internal business functions to develop and commercialize products and solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identify new digital opportunities and implement software solutions to enhance the customer experience.
  • Work closely with cross‐functional stakeholders to implement new customer experience solutions throughout the customer journey.
  • Analyse the market, competition, clinical and customer needs, and technology developments to identify product opportunities that meet real customer needs and deliver on business objectives.
  • End‐to‐end product lifecycle management of select portion of the automated delivery portfolio from value proposition development to product development, launch, maintenance and end of life.
  • Establish the product vision and user stories that translate that into clear customer requirements for the development team.
  • Champion product development initiatives and serve as the voice of the customer for worldwide markets.
  • Understand and prioritize customer needs through primary and secondary market research, including one‐on‐one customer interviews, focus groups, quantitative market research and web‐based surveys.
  • Work with R&D to translate customer requirements into product requirements and to assess potential trade‐offs.
  • Support the go‐to‐market strategy and provide on‐market support.
  • Provide guidance on the development and maintenance of packaging and labelling.
  • Develop and execute global product launch plans and sales force training in collaboration with Area Marketing groups.
  • Manage product lifecycle, conduct post launch review and assess line extensions and end of life planning.
  • Lead the planning and on‐going development and execution of on‐market products including product improvements, marketing claims, product messaging and clinical design and claims.
  • Serve as the voice of customer through development and accountable for product meeting consumer expectations.
  • Serve as product/market expert related to product positioning, competitive information, product performance, etc.
  • Manage marketing budget associated with specific programs/tactics (plan and track expenses).
