Diamond Search Recruitment are delighted to be representing our client, a very successful and growing organisation, who are recruiting for a Social Media Executive who is very creative and digitally minded. Join a growing marketing department and report into the Digital Marketing Manager. The role is a permanent opportunity offering hybrid working.

Working hours - Hybrid working, 2 days in the offices in Gillingham and 3 days from home.

The role - As an ambitious and motivated Social Media Executive, who is highly organised and creative, you will be passionate about everything social and keep up to date with trends and changes on the leading social media platforms. You will enjoy growing followers and engagements and generating leads and sales. Ideally you will have a good understanding of organic and paid techniques on Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn and X. And you will have managed PPC budgets, analytics and reporting on your activities.

The Social Media Executive will be required to do the following tasks:

  • Manage all social media channels organic and paid.
  • Create and post daily stories and videos.
  • Analytics and reporting on activities.
  • Produce high quality, engaging social media posts, videos and campaigns that will resonate with our target audiences.
  • Edit and proofread content and work alongside the content creation team to ensure consistent brand and campaign messaging.
  • Optimise social media content to maximise our budgets.
  • Monitor and develop reports on competitor and forum activity within social media spaces.
  • Manage customer engagement, followers and communications.
  • Work with, and develop influencers within the sector.
  • Other marketing duties to support the wider team as required.

The successful Social Media Executive should ideally be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Marketing degree level or equivalent marketing qualification.
  • Minimum two years social media marketing experience.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop or Canva.
  • Experience of working across multiple social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook, and video platforms, such as TikTok and YouTube.
  • Experience with Hubspot or similar social scheduling platforms.
