Diamond Search are recruiting on behalf of a growing children’s residential care provider for an exceptional Registered Manager to lead a new home in Sutton Coldfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced leader who is passionate about delivering outstanding care and achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a children’s residential home in line with Children’s Homes Regulations (England) 2015
- Maintain and strive for Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings
- Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, welfare and safety
- Create a nurturing, stable and positive environment for children and young people
- Develop and maintain Care Plans, Risk Assessments and behaviour support strategies
- Recruit, lead, supervise and develop a high-performing staff team
- Plan activities, events and experiences tailored to individual needs
- Manage budgets, resources and home maintenance
- Complete all mandatory training and ensure staff compliance
- Maintain Ofsted registration and DBS Update Service status
- Report safeguarding and compliance matters to senior leadership
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven leadership experience within a children’s residential setting
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection and regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and quality standards
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and team-building skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to complete within 2 years)
