Location: Newmarket
Salary: ÂŁ50,000-ÂŁ65,000 DOE + ÂŁ10,000 bonus + ÂŁ5,000 welcome bonus
Hours: Full Time, Permanent (40 hours)
Diamond Search Recruitment are representing a leading children's residential care provider seeking an experienced Registered Manager to run a specialist children's home supporting young people aged 12‑18 with complex mental health needs and high‑risk behaviours. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader with experience in children's residential care, Ofsted compliance, and trauma‑informed practice to step into a high‑impact role within a multi‑disciplinary setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a specialist home, ensuring high‑quality, safe care
- Drive Ofsted compliance with a target of achieving “Good” or above
- Develop personalised care plans and oversee therapeutic, emotional, and educational support
- Recruit, train, and develop a stable, high‑performing staff team
- Maintain strong safeguarding culture and respond to incidents effectively
- Work collaboratively with clinicians, teachers, parents, and Local Authorities
- Manage budgets and ensure commercial performance of the home
