Diamond Search Recruitment are proud to partner with our client, a leading independent drinks wholesaler, in their search for a Key Account Manager to join their dynamic sales team.

The Company: Our client is a dynamic, independent wholesaler, supplying pubs, bars, and restaurants across London and the Southeast with a full range of essentials — from beer, wine, spirits, and soft drinks to coffee, bar snacks and more.

The Role: As Key Account Manager, you will:

  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities
  • Act as the main point of contact for your key clients
  • Understand customer needs and promote relevant products
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and brand partners
  • Negotiate contracts and prepare sales proposals
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity
  • Attend weekly sales meetings and submit monthly reports

This is a field-based role with occasional travel to HQ. You'll organise your day to maximise opportunities across your territory.

About You:

  • Previous field sales experience in the on-trade drinks industry is essential
  • Confident, strategic, and commercially driven
  • Full UK Driving Licence (clean)
  • WSET Level 1 qualification (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Degree educated (preferred)
