As Finance Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in financial operations, compliance, and planning. You’ll be responsible for accurate reporting, overseeing day-to-day accounting, and offering strategic insights that support business growth. Flexible working for the right candidate Pro-rata holiday entitlement Company pension scheme Ongoing professional development Financial Accounting & Reporting Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Maintain accurate financial records and manage transactions Act as the main liaison for external audits Asset & Tax Management Oversee fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules Prepare VAT, payroll, and corporate tax returns Ensure full compliance with UK tax legislation Strategic & Cost Management Analyse financial performance and KPIs Prepare reports for management and group stakeholders Support budgeting, planning, and investment decisions Internal Controls & Training Establish and improve financial controls and procedures Provide financial training and guidance across departments AAT Level 3 qualification (minimum) or equivalent Ideally a certified accountant (ACCA/CIMA or similar) Experience in financial management Solid understanding of UK accounting standards and tax law Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel Discreet and trustworthy with confidential data If you're a qualified finance professional looking for a flexible, rewarding opportunity — we’d love to hear from you.
