Diamond Search Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading provider of specialist children’s residential care for an experienced Deputy Manager to join a residential home supporting children and young people aged 8-17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker, Team Leader or Deputy Manager to join a supportive organisation that is passionate about delivering exceptional care and creating positive outcomes for young people.
The Role
Working alongside the Registered Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day leadership of the home, supporting the team to provide outstanding, child-centred care in a safe, stable and therapeutic environment. You will help ensure the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations while promoting the wellbeing, development and independence of the young people in your care.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Registered Manager with the daily operation of the home.
- Lead, motivate and supervise the residential care team.
- Promote positive outcomes for children and young people.
- Ensure safeguarding practices are embedded throughout the service.
- Assist with care planning.
