About the Role
We now have an opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer to provide electrical engineering design support to the technical systems of the Diamond facility. You will also develop knowledge and skills required to use electrical CAD software and AutoCAD to produce schematics, hook-ups and other electrical design documentation, in support of the project requirements.
About You
To be considered, you will either hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering, or be somebody looking to take the next step in their career, perhaps after an apprenticeship or from a technician position where you have worked with CAD. You will have a good understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals, with proven design experience either from employment or from an academic project. You will have the ability to produce designs and specifications to appropriate standards, and to oversee procurement, assembly, testing and commissioning of electrical control systems.
Benefits
Diamond offers an exceptional benefits package to support staff in achieving a positive work/life balance. This includes:
- 26 days annual leave plus Christmas closure
