We are looking for a Care Coordinator / Deputy Manager to join and grow our new domiciliary care company in Carlisle. The right candidate must have at least a year of experience in domiciliary care, looking after elderly people in their own homes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day operations, including support to other branches as needed.
  • Support the care manager in interviewing and selecting new professional carers, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Assist with scheduling care visits.
  • Attend client reviews and update care plans monthly or as required.
  • Participate in new client meetings, complete initial assessments, and develop care plans and risk assessments.
  • Maintain all client records in the care App and create corresponding office files.
  • Coaching and supervising staff and promoting a high level of satisfaction.
  • Work closely with health professionals, agencies and the Local Authorities to secure care packages, provide effective and holistic care, making sure that care is Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-Led.
  • Cover last-minute cancellations and ad hoc shifts to ensure the safety of our clients.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in domiciliary care services is required.
  • Candidate must hold an L3 / L4 Qualification in Health and Social Care or be working towards L4 or L5.
  • The candidate must hold appropriate qualifications and have the capabilities to expand the business, using evidence-based practitioner skills and knowledge.
