Diamond Grove Center is searching for an experienced mental health professional to join our Marketing and Mobile Assessment Team. This is a salaried position with hours of 8:00am-5:00pm Monday thru Friday (occasional evening and weekend duties as needed). Diamond Grove Center Hospital is a premiere behavioral hospital that has been providing compassionate care to children and adolescents since 1997. It is an 85‑bed psychiatric behavioral health hospital located in Louisville, Mississippi, offering inpatient acute care and residential treatment for adolescents. On average 1,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health‑care team each year.
The Business Development/Representative will be responsible for effective marketing, mobile assessment and public relations to maximize patient referrals and positive awareness of Diamond Grove Center in a designated territory. The representative will develop and maintain referrals to achieve census goals through relationship management, collect data and participate in productive referral source contacts.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to requests for information about the Center’s treatment programs and related mental health topics within 72 hours.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive mailing list of active and potential referral sources.
- Maintain a system of dissemination of marketing/public relations materials, information, and media.
- Communicate with the Director of Business Development regarding planning, promotion, and delivery of large group seminars for regional professionals.
- Develop and deliver small group presentations for referral sources and community groups.
Qualifications include interpersonal skills to interact with facility personnel, physicians, patients, referrals, and visitors to gain cooperation and to provide and exchange information. The employee must maintain a positive attitude in all dealings with each – a team player. Providing information, communicating, resolving problems and conflicts in an appropriate manner, and exhibiting a “Caring Attitude” with a commitment to quality care are required. The Business Development and Mobile Assessment Representative will have a master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or human services field (required), license preferred. Prior intake, assessment, admission, and crisis intervention experience with a psychiatric mental health population is necessary. At least 3–5 years of mental health/rehabilitation experience with special needs populations, preferably marketing and mobile assessment experience within a healthcare environment. Demonstrated experience in networking and interfacing with community leaders is required.
