Diamond Grove Center is looking for a skilled Mental Health Specialist, that will provide quality patient care to our patients. This position will be PRN, and must have the flexibility of working weekend shifts when needed. Diamond Grove Center is a 61 behavioral psychiatric hospital located in the beautiful neighborhood of Louisville, Miss. Diamond Grove Center features individual units for children, adolescents, and offers inpatient care acute care, as well as residential treatment for adolescents. On average 1000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Diamond Grove Center Hospital.
As a Mental Health Specialist you will facilitate the admission of psychiatric patients to Diamond Grove Center, by balancing the patient’s comfort and ease within the organization’s operating needs, with an ability to establish therapeutic rapport and verbally de-escalate patients in crisis.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.
- Behavioral Science field or equivalent of documented experience.
- Hospital Aide/Treatment Assistant.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
- High School Diploma/Equivalent GED required.
