Our client is seeking an experienced and skilled dental nurse to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. This is a dual role that will be split between Dental Nursing and Dental Reception.

With free roadside parking, this lovely practice is located in a residential area and is situated just 2 miles from the city centre. This 6 surgery practice includes a forward-thinking, progressive team that is passionate about training and development. They are active in creating a great working environment and would like to receive applicants from dental professionals who bring the same energy and enthusiasm to the practice.
Responsibilities:
- Impeccable reception manners and professional customer care is mandatory.
- First contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and positive patient journey.
- Building patient confidence and faith in the practice and leaving a great impression.
- Encouraging excellent patient reviews on Google and Friend & Family.
- Being the eyes and ears of the practice, resolving/communicating to appropriate individuals.
- Answering the phone, booking and amending appointments, and making recalls.
- Maintaining full dentist list and managing diaries.
- Ensuring no patient debts are generated.
- Updating patient records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date patient information on the system.
- Informing patients on all services on offer.
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and following GDPR regulations at all times.
- General reception housekeeping.
- Responsibly handling payments - cash/card/cheque and accurate cashing up.
- Effectively communicating with other team members to maintain positive working relations.
- General administration tasks, such as photocopying, scanning, printing, shredding, and sorting/filing/sending forms.
- Dental Nursing duties: preparing surgery, cleaning, stocking up, assisting dentists.
- Following practice policies and protocols at all times.
- Understanding, sharing, and promoting business ethos.
