Early PSV Engineer -Redditch

Location: Redditch DepotPay Rate: £20.50 per hour depending on experience and qualificationsJob DescriptionWe have an opportunity for a Morning / Early Engineer to join our award winning Redditch depot.We are looking engineers who can work a 40-hour contract Monday – Saturday 5:00am – 1:30pm (any 5 days out of 6)The individual must be a team player willing to learn and adapt to the running of a busy workshop.Experience of the industry HGV or PSV is necessary, and the individual must be confident in fault-finding and rectification of all types of faults and defects.A PSV licence is preferred for the role but not essential.A good knowledge of the DVSA rules and legislation is important as inspections and MOT preparation will be required.Your daily tasks will include:Preparing the fleet for PVR the next morningService and inspections of the fleet.Defect and rectification from driver walk round checks at the end of the busses shiftEngine, Adblue, Gearbox, Running gear replacements and repairs.Attending and repairing roadside breakdowns where possibleDiamond Bus Redditch Depot – Winner ofEmployer of the Year- Redditch Business Awards 2025 Apply Today!
