Join Our Network Office Team - Shape the Future of Bus Services in the Diamond Bus Network. Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where planning, coordination, and problem-solving are key? Are you passionate about keeping public transport running smoothly and efficiently? If so, we want you to join our Network Office team – the central hub that keeps our bus operations flowing.

What You’ll Do...

  • Prepare compliant bus service registration files with varying local authorities within the required timelines
  • Produce schedule of bus workings and driving duties in line with legal driving regulation
  • Maintain and improve timetable accuracy on customer end
  • Provide TransXChange and other data files for internal and external use
  • Manage back-office data within the timetables system for roadside publication
  • Liaise with other departments to effectively prepare customer and staff information on timing, route, and network changes
  • Responsible for accurate route mapping and service mapping
  • Build timetables and provide accurate information to assist the company with tender bids for new contracts
  • Production and maintenance of rota lines and importing rotas into allocation systems
  • Provide files for importing duties and scheduling files to assist with driver recording duties and lost mileage recording
  • Ensure the business is in line with legal requirements from the Department for Transport or contractual obligations with Local Authorities
  • Work with commercial analysts to identify and look for improvements in bus schedules / network performance
  • Maintain Next Stop systems and Destination Blind programming in line with accessibility regulation
  • Liaise with local depots around the procurement and coordination of rail replacement and other private hire work
  • Investigate delays and other issues across routes being able to effectively improve performance
  • Work with depots to identify upcoming roadworks and plan/communicate diversions
  • Self-motivated with a positive “can do” attitude to all tasks.
