The Opportunity Join a local government repairs team delivering plumbing and multi-trade maintenance across council homes and other properties in Northwest London. You will complete safe, high-quality repairs, renewals and installations, with a strong focus on customer service and getting the job right the first time. Key Responsibilities Complete plumbing repairs to pipework, drainage and sanitary installations. Deliver reactive, planned and void-property repairs. Carry out associated plumbing, tiling and making-good work. Diagnose faults and choose practical, cost-effective solutions. Provide a professional service in residents’ homes. Work in line with health and safety requirements and current regulations. Update job records and manage materials using mobile systems. What You Will Need NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing, or an equivalent qualification. More than five years’ experience in social housing repairs or maintenance. Practical multi-trade skills, including fault-finding. A full, clean UK driving licence. GCSE English and Mathematics, or equivalent. Clear customer communication, administration and basic digital record-keeping skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compliance Requirements Enhanced DBS check.
