We are looking for an experienced Mobile Estate Services Warden for a local government client in Addlestone, Surrey, to provide a safe and clean environment at blocks and on estates across the Borough. Ensure areas of responsibility for cleaning meet appropriate standards and prescribed specifications. Provide excellent customer service and work to deliver first-class cleaning services and all associated tasks. Assist in enhancing the appearance of housing estates to enable residents to take pride in where they live.
The working pattern: 07.00 - 3.00 pm Monday - Thursday; Friday 07.00 - 2.30. Expected to work 1 in 3 weekends - Saturday & Sunday 7.00 - 10.30 - when working weekend will have a day off on the following Monday.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure housing estates are kept clean, tidy, and free of rubbish and litter, and monitor recycling and waste bins.
- Deal with any emergency as they arise, including out of hours.
- Ensure the Health and Safety regulations.
- Provide access to contractors, particularly those who wish to use services located in blocks and serve as a point of contact for residents.
- Complete cleaning to a high standard in communal areas at housing estates across the Borough on a cycle agreed with the Estate Services Team Leader. This includes, but is not limited to, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting/polishing, interior window cleaning, toilet and kitchen facilities, and, when required, clearing spills and biohazards, ensuring that correct procedures are followed.
- Good standard of Education, including numeracy.
- Clean driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Basic IT knowledge, including mobile phone and handheld tablet.
- Experience in using cleaning equipment and/or supplies.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work on one's own initiative.
- Must be flexible and enthusiastic.
