Diama Security is expanding, and we’re looking for experienced Event Managers to lead security teams on the ground across a range of high-profile events and festivals throughout the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, with excellent communication skills and leads from the front, and can confidently manage large security teams in many different environments. We are looking for someone who is hands on, can get the job done rain or shine, can manage wellbeing of the team and ensure standards are upheld. This is not an office role or a 9-5 and involves weekend work and travel; you are the eyes and ears on the ground.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and manage security teams on-site
  • Conduct professional briefings and debriefings
  • Maintain high operational and performance standards
  • Act as the main point of contact on-site
  • Build strong relationships with clients and event organisers
  • Handle issues quickly and professionally
  • Provide real-time updates to Operations
  • Complete incident reports and post-event summaries
  • Ensure smooth communication between site teams and head office
  • Ensure full compliance with licensing and safety regulations
  • Support crowd management and safety planning
  • Uphold Diama Security’s standards at all times

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in event management, crowd safety, or security management
  • Proven track record working at events or with security providers
  • Level 5 Crowd Safety Management (or equivalent)
  • Valid SIA Licence CCTV (Required)
  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor / Close Protection
  • First Aid at Work (FAW) or FREC 3
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure
