Dialled In offers sales and marketing consultancy services to SMEs and Owner Managed Businesses across the UK. We work with growing businesses through the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans to become their in-house sales & marketing department, at a level that suits their budgets and timescales.

Salary: £29,000 - £32,000 DOE

Reporting to: Directors/Office Manager

Purpose of role: We are looking for a data-driven and proactive SEO Executive to manage and optimise search engine visibility for a range of client accounts, as well as our own Dialled In channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong grounding in technical SEO and be confident using analytical tools to diagnose and resolve issues that impact site performance. Alongside this, you’ll deliver strategies that improve rankings, drive traffic, and generate measurable results.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Managing keyword research and SEO audits to identify opportunities
  • Implementing on-page and technical SEO best practice
  • Monitoring analytics, preparing reports, and making data-led recommendations
  • Supporting wider marketing campaigns with SEO insight and content optimisation

Key Result Areas:

  • SEO Strategy & Implementation
  • Carry out keyword research and competitor analysis to guide content strategies
  • Implement on-page SEO, including optimising metadata, headings, content, and internal linking
  • Conduct technical SEO audits and coordinate fixes (site speed, crawl issues, indexing, schema, etc.)
  • Support with off-page SEO activity such as backlink analysis and link-building opportunities
  • Content Optimisation
    • Work with the content team to ensure all blogs, web copy and landing pages are optimised for search
    • Write and edit long-form SEO copy such as blogs, guides, and service pages, ensuring content is high quality, keyword-focused and structured for both users and search engines
    • Provide guidance on content strategy to improve rankings and engagement
    • Stay up to date with SEO trends and algorithm updates, adapting strategies where needed
  • Analytics & Reporting
    • Monitor organic performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console and report on technical issues impacting visibility
    • Track keyword rankings and site performance
    • Produce monthly reports for clients with insights and recommendations
    • Use data to demonstrate ROI and improve ongoing strategies
  • Collaboration & Client Support
    • Liaise with the wider marketing team to integrate SEO across campaigns
    • Provide SEO insights during website builds, content planning, and digital marketing activity
    • Attend occasional client meetings to present results and recommendations
  • Organisation
    • Effectively manage time across multiple client accounts
    • Maintain consistent attention to detail and accuracy in all deliverables
    • Ensure deadlines and client expectations are met

    PERSON SPECIFICATION

    ESSENTIAL

    • Experience:
    • Proven experience in SEO, including on-page, technical and off-page optimisation.
    • Strong technical SEO skills, with hands-on experience resolving issues such as site speed, crawl errors, indexing, structured data, redirects, and mobile optimisation.
    • Experience with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs)
    • Demonstrated success in improving rankings, traffic and conversions.
    • Understanding of core digital marketing principles and how SEO supports them
    • Copywriting and content optimisation experience
  • Personal Skills:
    • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Attitude:
    • Passionate about SEO and digital marketing and willing to stay up to date with trends and changes
