The role: We are seeking an ambitious and highly analytical Technical Assistant to support our CEO, who is also one of our leading Quantum and Technical experts. This is an exceptional opportunity for a professional with an eye for detail to join a market-leading expert witness firm and work alongside one of the most respected Experts in the industry. The role will be based in Bristol with the potential for international travel. We offer a structured career path with significant scope for professional growth and development.
Key duties will include (but not be limited to):
- Provide detailed technical and analytical support to the CEO in preparation of expert reports and presentation.
- Work with complex datasets, conduct in-depth analysis, financial modelling and quantum assessments.
- Utilize Excel extensively to manipulate data, develop models and produce detailed reports.
- Conduct research and technical assessments related to construction and engineering disputes.
- Assist in preparing high-quality documentation for legal proceedings and expert testimony.
Key candidate criteria:
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and present data effectively.
- Five years practical experience in a construction or legal environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Advanced Excel skills - including complex formulas, pivot tables and data visualization.
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal; fluency in English is essential.
- Degree educated in Engineering, Construction or other related discipline.
