Our client is an award-winning online media & advertising solution (200+ employees, London based). Further to international expansion we're now hiring for a Business Development Manager or Senior Business Development Manager to sign new publishers and acquire supply across the US market and other growth markets.

The role is London based (working standard UK hours) and joins a high-achieving Publisher BD team based across London and NYC.

The role

  • Identify key publishers and define the go-to-market plan and execute against it
  • Develop a repeatable and consistent approach to new business development where the expectation is you'll build up to a cadence of 20 prospect connections and deliver 3-5 pitches per week.
  • Focus on US market publishers but also support on UK pitches as needed, especially if there's a multi-market opportunity
  • Leverage sales collateral and events to engage your target publishers
  • Setup meetings and pitch the benefits of working with our client's award-winning advertising and audience solutions
  • Work closely with your peers in the Publisher Business Development team and partner with Account Management, Strategy, Marketing and Ops as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience in AdTech, MediaTech, Programmatic Ads landscape
  • You understand publishers nuanced challenges and opportunties in a fast-changing landscape
  • New business sales or New Business Development experience
  • Demonstrable track record of achievement and commitment

  • Experience of working in, or with, the US market - or you can show clear transferable US-market selling ability.
  • Sales hunter with grit: you're not afraid to pickup the phone and create connections from scratch through cold (but to include warm) outreach.
  • You're able to use sales tools effectively to develop thoughtful multi-touch outreach
  • Naturally positive and tenacious
  • Ambitious and goal oriented
  • You welcome visibility across the business and are willing to share your success stories
  • Self-organised
