Our client is operating in the digital transformation space with a growing global team (500+ employees) made up of technologists and consultants focused on delivering cloud-based solutions, omni-channel user experiences and next-gen AI, ML and NLP applications. They service 300+ satisfied customers globally and they are now seeking a senior IC at Business Development Director / Senior AE level to oversee UK&I sales (currently a new market but forecasted for rapid growth).
Role Overview
- Development of sales strategy & execution
- Build pipeline, pitch, negotiate & close contracts, delivering against quarterly and annual revenue goals
- Grow the UK&I market
About You
- 6-8 years Tech Sales experience
- Prior sales experience in SaaS, Cloud, Enterprise Tech, Digital Transformation
- Experience of closing Data, AI and Digital Transformation opportunities
- Knowledgeable about the independent software vendor (ISV) space
- Agility to work in a small (5 person) London office where you will enjoy autonomy, create impact and drive revenue
Deal Sizes, Cycles & Targets
- Target will range from £1.2m - £1.5m per annum, once ramped up.
- Average deal sizes range from £250 - £500k but smaller door opener consulting projects and POCs can start at £25k.
- Sales cycles typically starting at 60 days.
- Double OTE, uncapped.
Proficient in AWS (our client has premium partner status) and Databricks (over 100 certified professionals). Understands pain points of tech (customer) companies needing to move away from legacy tech towards SaaS and Cloud-based solutions. Proficient in Data, AI and its impact on transformation. Experienced in providing solutions to scale-up customers that may have reached $10-15 ARR but now need to fix tech debt.
